2014
Veterans Day
Today we celebrate all the heroes who fought for our nation’s freedom. Sometimes we need a reminder that unlike your every day United States citizen, who enjoys the benefits of this great country, a Veteran has actually laid the foundation for those benefits by his or her sweat, blood, and tears. When you see a Veteran today, take a minute and say thank you. Our 501(c)(3) non-profit university fund seeks to remove educational, legal and related barriers for Veterans and other potentially fragile yet gifted populations. Those served through education and advocacy "readiness initiatives" improve their quality of life and inspire others to realize their dreams.

3 Advantages to Learning Online
In this competitive job market it can be hard to get employed, stay employed and advance your career. This is why we should continue to learn new skills and refine old ones. Online education can offer an edge to get ahead. Although, there are many advantages to studying online lets take a look at three of them.
1. Suit Yourself - Determine your own course schedule, and complete courses on your own time online. If you are already working it can be hard to find time to schedule your courses after work. For example if you get off work at 5:00 PM and your class starts at 6:00 PM you might be able to attend the course usually. However, work can and usually does throw curve balls. Imagine your boss asked you to stay an extra hour or you get stuck in traffic then you miss the course that you paid money to attend and you could have also missed an important course comitment such as a test or s presentation. If this was one of our Courses, that allows you to participate in the course upon your own schedule, then you would have missed nothing by staying an hour extra at work.
2. Set your own pace - Process complex concepts, or power through more quickly — you set the pace. Some of us learn at different paces and that’s ok! What is simple for you maybe hard for another and vice versa. For example my wife can handle an accounting concepts much better than I can, therefore, she will need less time then I to process the same information. Should the professor cater the course to my needs or hers? Unlike traditional courses our Certificates and Courses allow you to complete projects and assignments at your own pace. Our Certificates and Courses give students certain amount of days to access each course. In those days you spend as much time or as little time as you need to complete the course.
3. Save Money - Our online courses are an affordable alternative to classroom-based courses. Although there are many reasons students sign up for courses, many students take courses so they can earn more money. Our online Certificates and Courses tend to be more affordable then traditional courses. And we all know “a dollar saved is a dollar earned.”
